Samsung has confirmed it will hold Galaxy Unpacked on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco, where it plans to unveil its newest Galaxy innovations with a strong focus on AI. The company says the new Galaxy S series is designed to simplify everyday interactions and make Galaxy AI feel seamlessly integrated from the moment the phone is in your hand.
The livestream is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET, and Samsung says people can watch on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel. While Samsung’s announcement keeps product details limited, multiple reports say the event is widely expected to center on the Galaxy S26 lineup and may also include new Galaxy Buds models.
What Samsung has confirmed
Samsung says Galaxy Unpacked February 2026 will “mark a new phase in the era of AI” as intelligence becomes more personal and adaptive. In its invitation, Samsung describes the upcoming mobile experience as one meant to “remove friction” from everyday tasks, with AI integrated from the start rather than treated as an add-on.
Samsung also confirms the event location and timing: February 25 in San Francisco, with the livestream starting at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET. Samsung’s confirmation does not explicitly name the Galaxy S26 in its invitation, even as it promotes the arrival of a “new Galaxy S series.”
Reservations and early offers
Samsung says reservations are open now ahead of pre-orders, and reserving can qualify customers for a $30 credit when they pre-order. Samsung also says reserving and pre-ordering can enter customers for a chance to win a $5,000 gift card for use on Samsung.com.
In addition, Samsung says customers who reserve and pre-order on Samsung.com may be eligible for up to $900 in additional savings with a trade-in, or a $150 credit with no trade-in. Samsung also says that, for the first time, there are more ways to reserve, and it points customers to AT&T and Best Buy for more information.
What products are expected
Samsung’s own messaging is “light on the details” about devices, according to SamMobile, focusing instead on the promise of AI-forward features built into the new Galaxy S lineup. Still, both SamMobile and Android Authority say Samsung is expected to unveil the usual three core Galaxy S models, and Android Authority specifically describes that expected trio as the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
SamMobile also addresses earlier rumors about a lineup shakeup, saying it expects “business as usual” with the same three core models rather than swapping the Plus model for an “Edge” variant. Beyond phones, both SamMobile and Android Authority say Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are expected, with SamMobile stating Samsung will also unveil the new earbuds at the event.
How to watch the event
Samsung says the Galaxy Unpacked livestream will be available on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel at the announced start time. Android Authority also notes that Samsung plans to stream Unpacked online and over YouTube so people can follow the announcements from home.
For Samsung, the key theme appears to be AI that feels built-in and immediately useful, and the company frames Unpacked as the start of a more “personal and adaptive” phase for its Galaxy experience.
